The National Assembly introduced a new bill on Oct. 25.
\nUnder the bill, an amendment is made to the procedure for acquiring Armenian
\ncitizenship. Thus, a person whose child or parent is an Armenian citizen, can
\nbe granted Armenian citizenship. According to Manuk Malkhasyan, a historian and
\na representative of the Armenian community of Switzerland, many problems may
\ncome up from this amendment.
