Moscow will continue efforts to secure the release of the
\nRussian citizens still held captive by the Palestinian radical Hamas movement.
\nAs TASS reports, Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov said this.

“We will continue our efforts. As for our citizens, a few
\nare still left. There is hope that they will be released in the near future,”
\nthe diplomat said.

Earlier, Taher Nunu, the spokesman for Chairman of the Hamas
\nPolitical Bureau Ismail Haniyeh, told TASS that Hamas had released the hostage
\nwith Russian citizenship, handing him over to the delegates of the
\nInternational Committee of the Red Cross. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
\nMaria Zakharova, in turn, told TASS that Ron Krivoy was released within a
\nseparate deal, thanks to the efforts of Russian diplomats.
