Armenia has been and remains an ally of the Collective
\nSecurity Treaty Organization (CSTO). CSTO Secretary General Imangali
\nTasmagambetov said this to TASS.

“Armenia has been and remains our ally, which says it all, I
\nthink. As far as the CSTO Secretariat knows, the reasons for the absence of the
\nArmenian delegation were of a technical character. However, this is the
\ndecision of an independent and sovereign state, which no other state or
\norganization can influence. The CSTO respects the decision of the Republic of
\nArmenia as a full member of the organization,” Tasmagambetov noted.

To remind, the CSTO Secretary General had earlier announced
\nthat he would visit Yerevan to present the decisions taken at the meeting in
\nBelarus to the Armenian side.
