President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed the former head of his administration, Olzhas Bektenov, to the post of the country’s prime minister. As Armenpress reports, TASS wrote this.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Olzhas Bektenov was appointed prime minister of Kazakhstan, after being relieved of his previous position,” reads the presidential decree.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, by a majority vote, deputies of the Mazhilis (the lower house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan) gave their consent to the president to approve Bektenov’s candidacy for prime minister’s post.<\/span><\/p>\n
