Explosions were heard in the territory of the U.S. military base in the east of Syria, Lebanon-based Al Mayadeen reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. military base is located in the territory of the al-Omar oil field in Kurdish-controlled Deir ez-Zor Governorate, where U.S. troops have been stationed since 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n
