“France and Armenia maintain historically friendly relations; however, in the field of defense, our relations have not reached a high level of bilateral relations,” the French Ministerial Cabinet said in a statement, noting that this is the first visit of a French minister to Armenia in history.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Figaro reports that the first batch of French weapons will be delivered to Armenia today, as the parties agreed in October, 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

That will include night-vision devices manufactured by Safran, GM200 radars, which will allow it to detect the enemy aircraft from a distance of 250 kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n
