Four submarine communication cables have been damaged in the Red Sea in another Houthi attack, the Israeli Globes newspaper reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

As reported, the damage to the AAE-1, Seacom, EIG and TGN cables has already greatly affected the Internet connection in Europe and Asia, with most of the damage felt in the Gulf states and India.<\/span><\/p>\n

The repair of those cables can take at least eight weeks and cost telecommunications companies a significant amount of money.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the newspaper notes that the connection damage has been serious, but not severe, as other cables that have not been damaged and connect Asia, Africa and Europe pass through the same region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that British merchant ships had suffered significant losses due to the disruption of maritime trade caused by Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n
