Senate Foreign Relations Committee Member Rand Paul proposed a resolution aimed at blocking the sale of F-16s to Turkey, The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Turkey has stood closely by its Azerbaijani ally in its efforts to subjugate the region. Turkey deployed U.S. F-16s to Azerbaijan, and they were used in the war in 2020. Azerbaijan’s subsequent military operation in 2023 killed thousands and created a humanitarian disaster, forcing more than 100,000 people to flee,” ANCA wrote on X.<\/span><\/p>\n

The senator noted that it is important that the resolution be adopted. <\/span><\/p>\n
