Today, Nov. 18, the autumn meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary
\nAssembly (OSCE PA) opens in Yerevan. It will be held in the Karen Demirchyan
\nSports and Concerts Complex. At the moment, final preparations for the meeting
\nare underway.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
Within the meeting, a conference will be held under the
\ntheme “OSCE in Times of Crisis: Role of the PA in Responding to Internal and
\nExternal Challenges”. Issues related to the OSCE role in fighting corruption
\nand protecting minorities will also be on the agenda for the meeting.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Three hundred delegates from around 50 countries have
\narrived in Armenia to attend the meeting.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Bilateral meetings are planned within the OSCE PA autumn
\nmeeting as well.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
To remind, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Russia will not attend the
\nmeeting.
