Japan will not recognize the results of the Russian presidential elections in the territories that Tokyo considers Ukrainian. Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said this.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I would like to refrain from commenting on the elections in Russia,” he said, noting that Tokyo considers the inclusion of some territories in Russia a violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He did not specify what regions he meant.<\/span><\/p>\n
