The U.S. administration does not plan to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential elections. Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Vedant Patel said this at a press briefing.<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that Putin “is likely to remain the president of Russia”. <\/span><\/p>\n
