EHang Holdings, a Chinese manufacturer of compact aircraft for the transportation of people and goods, has put unmanned flying taxis up for sale on Taobao, a Chinese online shopping platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their receiving safety certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) last October paved the way for the commercialization of these innovative electric air vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cost of one such air taxi is 2.39 million yuan ($332,060).<\/span><\/p>\n

It reaches a speed of 130 kilometers per hour and carries two passengers.<\/span><\/p>\n
