The United States does not agree with the Azerbaijani claims that the Armenia-EU-U.S. high-level meeting to be held in Brussels on April 5 may destabilize and aggravate the situation in the South Caucasus.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Armenpress reports, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said this at a press briefing in response to a journalist’s question about the claims of the Azerbaijani side that the upcoming Armenia-EU-U.S. meeting is dividing and may push Armenia to destabilize the situation in the region, and that the U.S. and the EU might share responsibility for potential escalation following the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

“So I obviously would not agree with those comments. The focus of this meeting is on economic resilience to help Armenia diversify its trade partnerships and address humanitarian needs.
