The working groups of the International Committee of the Red
\nCross (ICRC) in Nagorno-Karabakh keep visiting Armenian families there,
\naddressing their needs. ICRC Communication and Prevention Programs Manager Zara
\nAmatuni told Armenpress that it is hard to give statistics on the number of Armenians
\nremaining there, but the number is about several dozen.

“After the majority of Armenians moved from Karabakh to
\nArmenia, our teams started to work on the ground with the people who for some
\nreason remained there or simply were not able to leave. There were people who
\nhad wished to move to Armenia, but for some reason had not been able to do so.
\nOur organization has helped them in that regard. We are talking about 50
\npeople. These are people with health issues. We have also helped several dozen
\npeople to contact their relatives in Armenia through phone or video calls. Our
\nworking groups regularly visit those who have decided to stay in Karabakh, and
\nassess their needs,” Zara Amatuni said.

ICRC visits have revealed that the needs of the Armenians
\nstaying in Karabakh are related to food, water and medical supplies.
