Marija Pejčinović Burić, the secretary general of the Council of Europe, was on an official visit to Armenia. The visit of the EU diplomat to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by a protest action by the Opposition. The protesters demanded that the Council of Europe pressure Baku and Yerevan into releasing the Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan and the political prisoners kept in prison in Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n
