Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova talked about the recent tensions along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We have already given our assessment several times and have noted that the territorial issues between Yerevan and Baku should be settled through diplomatic channels. We call on the parties to show restraint, to avoid militant statements, and to move to peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus by all possible mechanisms,” Zakharova said.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also warned about the danger coming from the West, which has started a dirty game in the region in order to destabilize it.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We call for a return to effective mechanisms and the 2020–2022 tripartite agreements between Moscow, Yerevan and Baku.<\/span><\/p>\n
