Heavy rain has continued to batter Gulf states, causing deadly flash floods and disrupting flights at the world’s second-busiest airport, the BBC writes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dubai International Airport warned of “very challenging conditions” and advised passengers to avoid airport services if possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Flight Aware, on Wednesday, April 17, about 300 flights to and from Dubai airport—being a major hub connecting flights to all continents—were canceled.<\/span><\/p>\n

The airport, which served more than 80 million passengers last year—second only to Atlanta Airport in the U.S.—warned passengers that it would “take some time” to restore operations.<\/span><\/p>\n
