Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has rejected Central
\nIntelligence Agency Director William Burns’s proposal to ensure security in the
\nGaza Strip until the Palestinian Authority can take over after Hamas’s possible
\ndefeat, The Wall Street Journal writes.

“Abdel Fattah al-Sisi rejected the proposal, noting that
