The highway from Armenia to Iran is closed in the Tigranashen section. Large police forces are also at the site, MP Aghvan Vardanyan from the opposing NA Armenia Alliance told ABC media.<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that the police were obstructing the course of the peaceful protests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later, the police used force to remove people from the road. People have been arrested; ARF member Gerasim Vardanyan is among them.<\/span><\/p>\n
