The representatives of Group of Seven (G7) members have
\nissued a statement following the two-day meeting in Tokyo. They have also
\ntouched on the Artsakh issue.

“We are deeply concerned about the humanitarian consequences
\nfollowing the displacement of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh after
\nAzerbaijan’s military operations there. We call on Azerbaijan to completely
\nfulfill its obligations arising from international humanitarian law, and
\nwelcome the international efforts aimed at meeting the pressing humanitarian
\nneeds of the displaced persons. We highlight our support for the establishment
\nof lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the non-use of force,
\nrespect for sovereignty, inviolability of borders and territorial integrity,”
\nreads the statement.
