President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the decision to hold talks between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Almaty.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is symbolic that this important event will take place in Almaty, where the historic Declaration of Alma-Ata was signed in December 1991, which laid the foundations for the independent development of the CIS countries and established the principles of determining interstate borders.<\/span><\/p>\n
