Congressman Adam Schiff has invited the Catholicos of the
\nGreat House of Cilicia to deliver the U.S. House of Representatives’ opening
\nprayer.

“His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of
\nCilicia, will serve as the Guest Chaplain in the United States House of
\nRepresentatives – offering the opening prayer before this Thursday’s session,”
\nANCA reports, noting that in September 2022, in the World Council of Churches
\nassembly, His Holiness Aram I was elected President of the World Council of
\nChurches, representing the Oriental Orthodox churches.

ANCA noted that the Morning Prayer will be televised live
\nand will be included in the Congressional Record.
