Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan continues to be a
\npriority for the U.S. Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of
\nState Vedant Patel said this at a daily press briefing.

In response to the question if Washington is still an option
\nfor the next round of the negotiations, in view of the fact that in September,
\nU.S. senior officials stated that both Azerbaijan and Armenia had agreed to
\nsend their officials to Washington for another round of meeting, Patel said:
\n“Of course. Outside of everything that of course is going on in the world that
\noften sometimes takes up a lot of the oxygen in this room, peace between those
\ntwo countries continues to be a priority for us, for Secretary Blinken, and
\nit’s something that the department will continue to engage towards.”
