The number of victims among the employees of the United
\nNations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)
\nhas reached 88 in Gaza. The number is greater as compared to that recorded in
\nany other conflict. The organization made a statement on this.

“The number of victims among the staff members of the
\nhumanitarian organization has reached 88 since Oct. 7,” reads the statement.

U.N. Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and
\nEmergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths, the Director-General of the
\nWorld Health Organization, UNICEF’s Executive Director and other officials
\nsigned the statement.

Once again, they called for the release of the hostages
\ntaken by Hamas and for a ceasefire in Gaza.
