The parliamentary faction of the ruling Georgian Dream party in Georgia overrode the president’s veto on the “Transparency of Foreign Influence” law at the plenary session. Eighty-four MPs voted in favor of the law, Kvira news agency reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the president does not sign the law within the specified period, the chairperson of the Parliament will sign it within five days.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, a protest is taking place outside the building of the Parliament. People are protesting against the “Transparency of Foreign Influence” law.<\/span><\/p>\n
