Russia strongly condemns the Israeli airstrikes in the suburbs of Aleppo. These aggressive actions are a gross violation of Syrian sovereignty and international law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said in a press release.<\/p>\n
“Moscow strongly condemns these aggressive actions, which are a gross violation of Syria’s sovereignty and fundamental principles of international law. Such actions, which in the currently tense situation in the region may have extremely dangerous consequences and lead to a large-scale armed escalation, are unacceptable,” reads the press release.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia “once again calls on the leadership of Israel to give up this vicious practice, which is fraught with uncontrollable destabilization of the situation in the Middle East”.<\/p>\n
