India considers supplying a fresh batch of military
\nequipment to Armenia. As Armenpress reports, The Economic Times wrote

“India is mulling over supplying a fresh batch of military
\nequipment to Armenia, its strategic ally in Caucasus, after the successful
\ndelivery of the first batch of weapons over the past year,” The Economic Times
\nwrites. <\/p>\n

As noted, a senior Armenian official visited Delhi recently
\nand held discussions in this regard. India has emerged as a credible weapons
\nsupplier as per Armenia’s requirements.<\/p>\n

Details on the new supplies have not been provided yet.
\nHowever, as the newspaper writes, the Armenians — who wished to remain
\nanonymous — said that the new batch may include equipment that will act as a
\ndeterrent in a conflict with Azerbaijan. <\/p>\n

The latest batch of armaments that India supplied to
\nArmenia, included Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles,
