At least 19 prisoners, six of whom were on death row on terrorism charges, escaped from a prison in the city of Rawalakot in Pakistan’s Kashmir region, the newspaper Dawn reports.<\/p>\n
Another prisoner was injured during the escape and later died in the prison hospital.<\/p>\n
The law enforcement authorities have launched a search. Among the criminals at large, there are persons sentenced to 25 or more years in prison.<\/p>\n
