The plane from Tyumen to Yerevan has returned to the airport of departure due to an autopilot failure. As TASS reports, this was announced by the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n
“The crew of the Utair Boeing-738 plane, which took off from Tyumen Airport at 6:18 a.m. local time, received information about a malfunction during the flight. A decision was made for the plane to return to the airport from where it took off,” reads the statement.<\/p>\n
According to the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office, the plane landed safely at 8:43 a.m. local time.<\/p>\n
According to Zvartnots International Airport, the plane was due to land in Yerevan at 8:50 a.m., but it was postponed and will land at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
