The issue of changing the Armenian ambassador in Russia is under the jurisdiction of Armenia, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told the press.<\/p>\n
“It is within the competence of the sending state to decide on the candidacy of the ambassador in a specific country. In this case, we are talking about the intention of the Armenian leadership to replace their ambassador to Russia,” Galuzin noted.<\/p>\n
He said Russia is satisfied with the work of the current ambassador of Armenia to Russia, noting that he has made a significant contribution to bilateral relations.<\/p>\n
To remind, Armenian National Assembly President Alen Simonyan announced the possibility of replacing the Russian ambassador in the near future, noting that they are discussing the candidacy of a new ambassador.
