Two thousand and five hundred NGOs from the U.S. embassy —
\nthe largest U.S. mission in the former USSR territory — provide grants, money
\nand instill it into the Armenian youth and society that Armenia can live
\nwithout Russia. As RIA Novosti reports, referring to the consequences of
\ncutting Armenia off Russia, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy
\nsaid this during the first “Russia-Armenia” public forum. <\/p>\n

The official called on Armenia not to repeat the mistakes of
\nthe post-Soviet countries, which tried to get everything they could get from
\nRussia, while at the same time, trying to get the same from Europe.<\/p>\n

“As the latest war was going on in Karabakh, MPs of the
\nArmenian parliament used to visit me literally every week, asking me to call,
\nto say something or to do something, to let the Russian president know about it
\nall and to stop the war. Now these MPs have disappeared: everyone. I would like
