A global outage impacting computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system has affected major airlines, television and banking services, Forbes writes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The outage has been blamed on a software update by cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike. <\/span><\/p>\n

Microsoft said it is aware of the issue and noted it is affecting systems running CrowdStrike’s Falcon security software.<\/span><\/p>\n
