German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed his support for inviting Russia to the next peace conference on Ukraine. As Deutsche Welle writes, Scholz said this at a pre-election event of the Social Democratic Party of Germany in Dresden.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There have already been many discussions on this issue, the last time in Switzerland, where many countries gathered. And I am very happy that the president of Ukraine also wants Russia to be present at the next meeting,” Scholz noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

The head of the German government said that Berlin should and will support Ukraine in its fight against Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n
