French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, ISNA reports. <\/span><\/p>\n

In a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Macron expressed concern about the tension in the region created after the assassination of Hamas’s political leader, Ismail Haniyeh. The Iranian president, in turn, criticized the actions of the U.S. and the West, calling on them to immediately stop arms sales and support to Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n
