Two French pilots were killed in a collision of Rafale fighter jets in the northeast of the country. According to Armenpress, this was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are saddened to learn of the deaths of Capt. Sebastian Mabire and Lt. Mathis Lawrence in an air crash during a Rafale training flight. The country expresses its condolences to their families and to the fellow soldiers from the Saint-Dizier air base,” the French president wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

The causes of the plane crash that happened on Aug. 14 are still unknown. As reported by the French mass media, there were three people on board the planes; one of the pilots ejected from the plane, receiving injuries. The second Rafale aircraft was carrying an instructor and a student, who were killed in the crash.<\/span><\/p>\n
