Armenia has sent humanitarian aid worth €50.000 to Slovenia
\nto help mitigate the effects of the natural disaster that occurred on Aug. 3-4.

\nArmenpress, Spokesperson for the RA Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan referred to
\nthe aid provided to Slovenia.

“As you already know, Slovenia faced the most dreadful natural
\ndisaster in its history: flooding that affected nearly two-third of the
\ncountry. Highlighting the importance of an appropriate response to natural
\ndisasters, and, if necessary, that of coordination of efforts to fight them,
\nduring a visit to Slovenia in August 2023, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat
\nMirzoyan expressed Armenia’s readiness to help Slovenia mitigate the effects of
\nthe flooding. This emphasizes both the importance of assistance and political
\nsolidarity in such situations — which Armenia has encountered as well — and the
\nincreased cooperation between the two countries,” Badalyan noted.
