Hungary is probably the second-largest buyer of Azerbaijan’s energy resources<\/a>, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at a forum in Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We have just signed an agreement to import green energy from Azerbaijan to European countries, including Hungary. So, I think that Azerbaijan will be a key country in the future,” Orban said.<\/span><\/p>\n

In general, regarding the relations with the EU, Orban noted that, as the presiding country of the European Council, Hungary “supports the development of an even stronger, strategic cooperation with Azerbaijan”.<\/span><\/p>\n
