A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the
\nstatements that Former Defense Minister of Artsakh Samvel Babayan made on
\nArmenian Public TV and on the report on crime delivered on Oct. 6. The RA
\nGeneral Prosecutor’s Office told Sputnik Armenia.

Samvel Babayan had urged the law enforcement officers to
\nbring a criminal case against the Artsakh authorities for the “cession of
\nArtsakh”.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
“The proceedings were taken under two articles:
\nnon-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of duties by a commander or an official
\nin a state of war or during a war or a battle because of negligence, as well as
\nthe cession of a fortification, military equipment or other means of fighting
\nin battle to the enemy by a commander without being forced by the circumstances
\nof the battle,” the General Prosecutor’s Office noted.
