Vladimir Putin attended the meeting of BRICS<\/a> high-ranking security officials in the Konstantinovsky Palace.<\/p>\n

“Today, more than three dozen countries—more precisely, 34 states—have expressed a desire to join the activities of our organization in one way or another,” Putin said.<\/p>\n

BRICS<\/a> has gained considerable experience in responding to security challenges, including the fight against cybercrime and terrorism, Putin noted. He added that the agreement on the establishment of a council on terrorism financing and money laundering issues within the organization is in the final stage.<\/p>\n
