The geography of BRICS is expanding. Early this year, our neighbor Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates also joined the organization. These additions have whetted the appetites of other countries as well. More than 29 countries want to join BRICS, including Turkey, Azerbaijan and Palestine. It is not known which countries have submitted an official application and how many will join the organization, but for now let us see what BRICS is, and when, how and why this organization was created?<\/span><\/p>\n
