According to the sources, during the conversation, the
\nlawmakers demanded that all necessary measures be taken against Aliyev in
\nresponse to his invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh in September.<\/p>\n\n
“The State Department is looking at avenues to hold
\nAzerbaijan accountable and isn’t planning to renew a long-standing waiver that
\nallows the U.S. to provide military assistance to Baku. We see a possibility
\nthat Azerbaijan will invade southern Armenia in the coming weeks,” Blinken
\nresponded.
