Iranian authorities will consider urban centers near the Persian Gulf to relocate the capital from Tehran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said at a press conference on Sept. 16, noting that most of the world’s major cities are located on the sea coast, RIA Novosti<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

According to the Iranian president, most of the factories near Tehran get the necessary raw materials from the Persian Gulf.<\/p>\n
