France will increase support to the Lebanese army in the face of Israeli strikes, and will also allocate €10 million in humanitarian aid to Beirut, French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot said.<\/p>\n
“We will step up our support to the army, the guarantor of Lebanon’s internal security and unity,” Barrot said at a press conference held in Beirut and broadcast on the French Foreign Ministry’s X account.<\/p>\n
He again called on Israel for a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
