We are often told to talk about social issues from the stage, but this is not a rally for social issues, this is a fight for dignity, Garnik Danielyan, an MP of the National Assembly, said during the rally in Republic Square.<\/p>\n

“This is a struggle aimed to stop the road leading Armenians to Deir ez-Zor,” Danielyan said.<\/p>\n

The MP also referred to compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh, noting that although the authorities always declare that Artsakh was a burden for us, that is not true.<\/p>\n

“We all have a difficult but dignified way to go; no one can take that dignity from us. Dear people of Artsakh, you are not alone; we are your brothers and sisters; we are with you; we are one nation. Artsakh has never been a burden for us and it will never be,” Danielyan said.<\/p>\n

He also noted that the Armenian people have been bringing the enemy closer to the capital day by day, and those who don’t understand this are blind or lack reason.<\/p>\n
