Russia’s Federation Council approves bill banning child-free propaganda

The Federation Council of Russia has approved a bill that prohibits the promotion of remaining child-free and not having children.

Under the new law, violators could face fines of up to 5 million rubles. According to RIA Novosti, there are exceptions, as the promotion of celibacy is not considered propaganda.
