World and European champion Malkhas Amoyan represented
Armenia in the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Amoyan competed with the representative of Kazakhstan in the men’s Greco-Roman
77 kg event. Beating his opponent 9:6, Amoyan won a bronze and an Olympic qualification
for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
