Lukashenko’s spokesperson denies Zelenskyy’s statement on apology

Natallia Eismant, Spokesperson for the President of Belarus, has denied the claims made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding an apology from Alexander Lukashenko following the start of the special military operation.

“The president of Belarus has not apologized to Zelenskyy because we simply do not need to,” Eismant stated, according to RBC.

In an interview with American blogger Lex Fridman, Zelenskyy noted that in February 2022, Lukashenko had apologized during a phone call and asserted that he had no involvement in the special military operation.

Eismant emphasized that it was the Kyiv regime that was the first to impose sanctions against Minsk, even ahead of the budgets of Western countries.
