Egypt, Qatar, and US to establish monitoring center for Gaza deal implementation

Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, as guarantors of the deal between Hamas and Israel, will establish an operational center to monitor the implementation of the agreement, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

“Egypt intends to continuously work in coordination with its partners Qatar and the U.S. to implement the ceasefire deal and fully realize its provisions by creating a joint operational center based in Egypt. This center will oversee the exchange of hostages and prisoners, the entry of humanitarian aid, as well as the movement of people following the resumption of operations at the Rafah Border Crossing,” the ministry said.
