Alexander Sirunyan: Professional books and insult-laden posts
For three days, a ballot box designated for voting, along with the chairs and table for the counting committee members, was set up in the hall adjacent to the parliamentary session room. However, the vote for Alexander Sirunyan, the Civil Contract party’s (KP) candidate for the Supreme Judicial Council, did not take place. Hours before, Sirunyan decided to withdraw his candidacy for the position of member of the Supreme Judicial Council. Sirunyan, known for his insults and offensive remarks, faced a heated discussion in the National Assembly regarding his candidacy, and it was never understood who and why had nominated the lawyer, who was unwanted and criticized by almost everyone.
