104 drones destroyed in Russian airspace overnight

Russia’s air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 104 drones in the airspace of nine regions across the country overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry states.

The agency reported that 47 drones were shot down in Kursk, 27 in Bryansk, 11 in Smolensk, seven in Tver, four in Belgorod, and three in Nizhny Novgorod. Additionally, three drones were destroyed in Kaluga, and one each in Rostov and Leningrad regions.

No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the drone attacks.

Earlier, on the night of Jan. 24, a total of 121 drones were shot down across 13 Russian regions. This recent drone attack marks the largest since the beginning of 2025.
